Hello All,
Just to inform all Oct Applicants that it has started rolling in.
i got MR yesterday evening 6pm.
but i only got MR for me and my family.
what to do and have not been sent till now.
my wife passport will expire in 2 months time and i have gotten a new one and need to contact AVO fast.

experience seniors please ur input is required.

what next as i embark on medicals as soon as possible.

Congrats Takeit and everyone who have received one update or the other. From what I have noticed, I think AVO is sending MR requests based on the date of PER issuance for each applicant. I have a friend, a September 23rd applicant, she received her PER on the 7th of January 2015, and her MR on Monday, 6th July 2015.

Congratulations takeit! This is sure good news! And to everyone else with an update. It will end in praise. However takeit, am not quite sure of what u wre saying. Is it that u probably only got an MR mail and d tests u were asked to do have not been sent to u or are u talking about paying d RPRF and d update form. Pls clarify. Congratulations once again.

Congratulations on ur PER and in advance for the wedding. Your situation is sthg dt needs carefulness n planning.
With d rate AVO is going, they MAY likely call u for MR before ur wedding and if possible, ur PPR . Now that is still a hypothetical situation. If I am the one, I will consider doing court wedding soonest (at least that one is devoid of huge expenses and all)and inform AVO of the update so that your wife's processing can start. Heads or tail, if u do the wedding before the MR and if you do the wedding after the MR and inform them, ur process will be delayed a little bit. HOWEVER, its the best option available to u cos if you DONT inform AVO of the wedding and your change of bachelor status before your visa is issued, it will be near impossible to bring her to Canada as they will inform u that in section xyz, you did not fulfill one thing one thing because u failed to
Inform AVO of ur change in status during the processing of ur visa. You can chk our sister forums either naija applicants or fsw 2013 forum, there was a sad case like dt and the forumite was denied flatly whenn the spouse now immigrated n then decided to sponsor him.

So, its your choice now, pls make haste n take a decision while they re still processing your application. Cheers.

Thank you sir (tbaba) for the information. I was thinking of trying to do the wedding earlier so that i can meet up with the MR but logistics may not allow. Can i still upload my marriage certificate and pictures on CSE after i would have received MR by august as you have projected? Will my spouse receive her MR separately too because i haven't yet included her in my application? Pls how long will the delay likely be- 1 or 2 or 3 months?
Waiting for a mail can be quite frustrating atimes

Then it is advisable to renew your passport. And inform AVO.

Congrats dear. For the MR form only dt u got, its normal. I got only MR form too. On or before ur PPR dey wud update u if they need any other thing.

You can only renew your passport 6 months to its expiration.
i will advise you go ahead to renew once its 6 months to the expiration date to avoid story that touch.
