Hi all,

Something interesting happened today.
I am 2174 NDVO applicant waiting for MR.
Today morning around 9.30 three people came to office (all foreigners, 2 ladies and one guy).
I was not in office, only security was there.
He told me that they had my photo and the company reference letter I provided.
They asked security if he knows me and how long I am is working here.
Security is working here only for last 1 year and he told them that.
No other people were available to confirm (No HR, manager etc )

I have below questions

1) Has anyone else had this experience before?
2) Since there were no one important in office at that time (no hr, managers etc) will it create any prob
3) My company recently got acquired by another company but we are still in old office. The transition will take time and I am still on existing company payroll. I didnt inform NDVO becoz nothing has changed from my perspective (same office, same managers, same payslip etc). The guys who came here might have noticed the change in log (both old and new log is there in reception, office entrance.
Will this be a problem?

Guys please provide your expert advice. I am really tensed :-[

Don't be tensed. (Easier said than done)
I think the ones from VO should expect that the security may not be able to provide information they are looking for. And I think the security should at least have updated them of working hours of your work place.

What has changed? If you mentioned ABC as your company name, is it now DEF or ABC & DEF? Whatever that is, I believe this information can still be verified.
I don't think this will cause an outright rejection. Meanwhile you can raise a case specific enquiry and upload the updated forms to NDVO. Include a cover letter explaining your situation and you should be safe.

mine application got received on 13 June'13...bt still didnt get medicals...

Although people got medicals after mine application received...

i m really worried....why my MR is not coming? :-X
