Me and my fiance have decided to apply for Canadian PR. We are totally clueless about the whole process. I am not sure if i am writing at the correct place but can someone please tell me that how do i start and where do i begin from ? I need to file it from Delhi, India and i dont want to go through consultants as most of them are frauds .

Hi Monsu.

Please refer cic website that will give all the details of steps that you need to undertake.

Go through this forum and you will find all answers for you queries especially "FSW14 timeline". You wont need consultant after you go through these forums. You yourself will be a consultant once you complete your application. I was facing same issue as you are but now to some extent i am confident to undergo the process.

Me and my fiance, both comes under 2173. But my fiance's profile is slightly better than me (high grades in school and college + onsite assignments in US n UK).
we are getting married in december, So i am just confused whether we both should file separately or only one (whose profile is better) should file for PR ? Can i or she change our status in PR profile after 4-5 months during the process from single to married ?? Will they allow us to add a dependant/spouse at later stage ?
