Yes you can land in other province for settlement except Quebec.

I did not receive any docs that I submitted back from the visa office.Was I supposed to get them back?

I don't know why the inconsistency, but the normal procedure is Visa valid 1 year from date of medical completion date.

Yes,I did medicals on April 1st 2014.What abt ppl that are receiving 1 yr from the date of visa issue?

I got back a few of my docs, such as my Original Birth Certificate. I also got back some of the pictures that were taken.

I did not get back my IELTS or WES docs.

How many are waiting for PPR 2 ; how many guys are there in forum they sent the xerox copies of passports to NDVO... we are waiting for PPR 2 and visa .... please comment thank you

I am waiting for PPR2... Any info on how long it might take and as to why NDVO started asking for PPR1 and not original PP with MR which was the normal practice

Hi guys

Congratulation for all who got their visas and Wish you good luck and speedy process who are waiting for their maple leaf.

Recently I have got my Visa and CoPR from Canadian Embassy, Manila.

I have following quires.

1.In my wife COPR, in birth place column they wrote Ongole, Andhra P instead of Ongole,Andhra Pradesh.
I understood that because of space constraints they limited the wording.
Is my understanding is correct?

2.During my passport request , generally we will get Appendix-A form in which we need to write all the info including height.
It obvious that children height will increase in considerable range along with time. Therefore, in attachment form A I wrote my children height as 99 cm and 84 cm (where as in generic application form it was written as 92 cm and 76 cm). However, visa office wrote the height based on Generic application form in COPR of my children. I need to report to embassy or I can change it at port of Entry?

3.I booked my tickets via Vancouver, B.c to Calgary. I will land first in Vancouver, B.C and from there connecting flight to Calgary.
(As my destination is Calgary as Generic application form). I think this is acceptable.


Anyone please second my ideas????

No if you have a valid Canadian Visa, you need not get a transit visa for UK...
