my timeline - app received at ndvo - 10 april 2013
- started processing by ndvo- 9 oct 2013
- medical ,pp,rprf request - 19 oct 2013
- docs submitted (pp,rprf,medical)- nov 12 2013
- medical received by cic on- 30th 2013
"in process " till now.............. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? :-[ :-[ :-[
i think they have followed the same pattern in mine case as well. as they started processing in oct 2013 and asked for the medical in the oct 2013 itself. so should i assume that my background check is still not initiated by the cic delhi ???? is it a matter of concern because till date i haven't heard anything from the NDVO? it means cic has no fixed pattern but it varies case to case .

what should i interpret now????????????

I think they issued MR before the background check.. so in your case they are going to do after Medical..otherwise you would have got the visa by now,since your medical received before 2 months..

But nova21 in ur case Colombo vo didn't ask for passport???
NDVO asked for pp as well... Wat would NDVO do with so many passports, if they are yet to do BG checks...
Can't say unless someone reports decision made or BG check(for those who submitted their Passports)

I have send DD with application, it was issued by ICICI bank, india and it is associate's with Bank of Montreal at Toronto
Does anybody who have made his DD through ICICI bank?

I hv gone through the procedure of getting copy of TRF in india tht tym thy took almost a mnth to issue a copy and it ws very frustating as thy askd for d Police report copy and othr stuff

o yes you got a point my friend # perseverance . it is really very strange tactics by the ndvo , without doing the groundwork you just can't approach towards the finalization ( pp stamping ) . pp are meant for travelling not for keeping the database of. only purpose pp can serve is to check the countries travelled by the applicant and that is for security checks .
do somebody wanna add something on that ???

Do you work in India? If yes, then an employer has to take care of the tax deductions of an employee and it is mandatory. To support that Form-16 is generated, using which you pay your IT. If your employer has not given you a Form-16, how do you pay your IT. Of course you can use your pay stubs to generate a statement of income and present it to the IT Dept. So, if you have ITR, it is also a good legal document, which could have been submitted.
But i guess you have made it though, you dont need to worry about additional documents now.

I doubt that, I am of the opinion that first the BG'C are done then the VO issues medicals.... why they would need a minimum of 2 months just to send the MR email with forms.......please share your views on this

its not that all the applicants go through BC.
it depends on your file complexity and random file checks.
obviously the ones who have received MR,PPR without any intimation of BC through their employees would have been skipped by their VO's for BC due to their file being straight forward. Also, in rare cases there is a possibily of BC after MR just as they ask for bank statements even sent during initial stage. Anyways, it completely depend upon them on what order they follow. Currently VO's are clearing(DM & Visa's) all their backlogs. DM's and Visa rain can start anytime at NDVO. Fasten your seatbelts guys!!!!!! Best of luck to all & God bless us.

Agreed...None of the fsw programme followed that stringent method..

i was planning to submitt all the docs that was asked by NDVO., pp,RPRF, PCC, Medical proof through VFS office , Guys what do you suggest does vfs do this ? if so do we need to take an oppointment for such if not through courrier is safe...am not courrier guys allows to send a passport soo

I too need advice on this topic. I am based in Gujarat. and how to send the passports and other docs to NDVO? through courier or India speedpost? my consultant says he prefers indiapost over the courier. speed post takes 4 days from here to new delhi , and my due date of submission for docs is 2nd feb 2014. please seniors, advice me. I lost my uk pcc in post, so i requested the 2nd copy and got it by courier. just today I got it. so i am worried about india speedpost.
