Guys,

To my surprise, my consultant forwarded me AOR today (dated 27th Aug 2013).

Important point to note is that now NDVO has mentioned processing time of 10 months in my letter, whereas for other fellow forum members it was 72 months. My understanding on 72 months processing time in fellow member's AOR letters was Strike action. However, strike is still ON then how NDVO mentioned 10 months in my AOR. Also, I am 8th May applicant and I received PER on 26th June so unable to understand how they took such a long time (more than two months) to send AOR. :-\ :-\ :-\

Another point, I got AOR is a PDF file. In which format did others receive the AOR - In plain e-mail without any attachments?

Summary -

File Received - 08 May '13
PER Received - 26 June '13
AOR Received - 27 Aug '13
Processing time mentioned in AOR - 10 months

That's great news!! Feels good to learn that NDVO is working.. and hoping in actual case processing time to be lesser than 10 months

Hello Rinash. Congratulationsssssss!!!!!. But I have a question. CIC in NS is closed as it is 2.30AM now in NS. Did you get your PER today or you got it yesterday and have checked it today?

I got it 11 hours ago. They sent it on 27 August. Its 28 Aug in my country. I got up from my bed in the morning and found the email in my inbox.

Now you will see in next 15 days NDVO AOR rain will start. They have started , one or two more mate will get aor today itself apart from aditya and brijpatel. My guess!!

Hi. No not yet. Just expecting today. My Application was received by CIC on 6 June 2013, CC was charged on 20 August 2013, and got my UCI over the phone on 26 August 2013.

Ideally you should go alone at first because that will make you free to search job and settle in canada.
If you land in Toronto and find job in Vancouver after one month then you will need to relocate and with family you will find bit more pressure.

There is no hurry for formalities of post landing. You all have PR VISA that is most important no matter if your wife and your daughter come to join you later.


If you have friend OR relative over there there is no problem to take them with you but in that case you should go with not only your wife but your daughter too.

NIRMAL , let me tell you , brijpatel got first AOR in July with time frame 72 months something and then he again got AOR yesterday and in that he got 10 months.

Let me tell you that early AOR was mistakes by cic so they re send it to those with correct timeframe that is 10 months.

In your case you have got first time recently so they haven't made any mistakes and they mentioned 10months in your case!

Now NDVO has started issuing aor soon most of people will get it and I am sure your cases willgetprocess in five months approx though they is a partial strike , the reason behind this is cic give high priority to fsw2013 processing under all types of immigration categories.

Now third , PDF or plain email , earlier it was plain email but usually consultant send you email converted in PDF format.

Now wait for MR!! Till then enjoy dude!
