Thanks etha4u. I also did get UCI on wednesday. I had immediately checked the IVR. That day it said UCI number is not valid (or something to that effect...can't remember exactly). Today however, the IVR says your file was received on July 5. Another difference I noticed between wednesday and today was that today it also asked for entering my DOB. May be today they updated the eCAS.

I am hoping these are good signs.

How can i use IVR. I have UCI too

by calling CIC n entering ur 8 digit UCI num wen asked

Follow below
NEW FSW
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked

Put ur uci number, they will repeat it if correct press 1

Then they will tell u to enter ur birth year
If correct enter 1

Then they will tell u ' we receive ir application on date' then transfer to call center

Or they will say nothing and start tranfering ur call;


Admins and seniors: please ensure when ivr get updated?

it depends from case to case.. sm ppl those who hv nt received PER can listen recorded msg that their file has been received..
bt for me n many others it was updated after we received our PER

Ur CC/DD already charged?? Bc I have only UCI and my status not showing on website.

My one is DD, all I know is I called CIC and in IVR i put UCI and they said they received my application (Alhamdulilah)

Not received per yet and no update in ECAS
