From Passport Request to Visa

I'm in a similar situation. My PPR was in April 24, 2012. My passport was received at Fort Erie on May 2, 2012. My ECAS status changed to DM on May 18, 2012.

I called CIC and the agent was kind enough to tell me that "everything, including stamped passports, has been transferred to CPP-O as the Buffalo Office shut down." I emailed CPP-O to inquire on the matter and they haven't gotten back to me yet. Needless to say, there's always a silver lining.

I gave a mail to buffalo embassy on Friday in regarding my passport, and they replied me saying that it is in line for visa stamping. We will send the passport back to you once it is done.

I am guessing people who ever sent there passport to buffalo they still have it, they haven't transfer to any other embassy.

I am now used to reporting inconsistencies among officials. They told me my passport would be in CPP-O. Now, I read from you it must be in Buffalo. Well, I guess I can wait another week.

Congrats! Alas, there is no logic in how Buffalo works (worked)! They have no sense of chronology, evidently. Where did you do your landing?

Good news. Just checked Canada Post. My item has been checked in Fort Erie about 40 minutes ago. I hope to have it delivered within 3 days to Vancouver. Next step: Hoping all goes well, I plan to do a flag-pole in White Rock, BC. Thereafter, I will start a topic with my experience and all the necessary documentation and/or items one needs to wield for proper landing.

Congrats, I am also from Vancouver. Hope mine will be done soon to.

i send my passport along vid RPRF fee and 5 photos to visa office new delhi on 30.5.2012..plzz tell me after hw mch time my passport will come back vid visa...plzzz tell me.. im new member
