i am living in netherlands..europe and i need my PCC from india ..i have contacted with indian embassy here i got PCC from indian embassy.that is not good enough . becuase they are only able to provide me pcc since from my sconed passport issue .if i want my pcc from india they told me it take maybe more the 3 month.and looks to me they are not really keen to help .becuase of 120 days i don;t have so much time left..so is that possible i can arrange my PCC from SSP office...... is that work ?

did any body knows .can we apply PCC in SSP office while living abroad...and that PCC is accepted by candian embassy out side of india.


Please reply...i would really appreciate your help..

Main aaj hi forum join kita , hai tuhadi sab di guidance di zarooorat hai. Main USA vich haaan MBA kar riha haan, te canada di PR layi apply karna chahunda haan. Process Kive te kithon start karna chahida mainu ??? Salaah , mashvare liya dilon shukriya.

Buddy ur situation is very tedious. I don't have much idea and any experince in such case, but I know that it is not possible to get PCC from SSP office if one lives outside India. There is no facility to obtain "PCC from some specific time period". SSP office people only do up to date Inquiry of any of the case. AS currently u are in Netherlands(in other words living outside ur previous SSP office jurisdiction) so SSP office will not able to conduct ur inquiry.Thus ultimately it is the Indian embassy which will issue u the PCC , so u have to wait.

I would advice u to send a letter to CHC explaining all the situation and request them for time period extension to submit all the supporting documents. They will definately provide u more time. I hope it will work.

Am not sure regarding all these suggestions, there may be some other way out so seniors will batter help u out.

Y don't u inquire about this "old passport PCC" from ur concerning passport office( in India). I think the passport office will provide u the PCC for your old passport. Just sent any of ur relative/ friend to passport office and put an inquiry in front of them.
PCC issued from passport office is equally accepted as of from SSP office.

100% right! BUT WHY U NEED PCC FOR THE OLD PASSPORT?DID CHC ASKED FOR IT? I MEAN SEND THE RECENT PCC BEFORE EXPIRY DATE & LET THEM ASK FOR ANOTHER. I THE MEAN TIME CARRY ON FOR PCC OF OLD PASSPORT.

Yes you right..so if i will apply pcc @ passport office jalandhar for my old passport is that accpeted by candian embassy. becuase i think it will be more fast to send some body to passport office..

other point i have pcc for my new passport from embassy in netherlands . but they metion issue date of my new passport to till yesterday on pcc. like below

there is no adverse information against (my name) for period from (new passport issue date) to (yesterday 29/12/2009)

thats all............ do you think this pcc will work.

Veer ji main apply kita si indian embassy wich..and i explain every thing. te babu told me they CAN issue me this pcc because my passport renew from here since that from that date. i said why becuase you issue my passport based on my previous passport and they told me they knows me since my second pp issue for your previous pp thay have to send my request to jalandhar for pcc ...the person in embassy told my very clear he said they don;t trust jalandhar passport office workers .becuase they never reply and do not bother us becuase you need this pcc within the time period..we are not sure about time .might be it taks 2 months or 6 months... the embassy person told me this.( i was really surprised i thought our india has been change i was really proud to be indian .but this i don;t know how to explain.its pain full but i still love my mother land punjab..
