Hello Everyone,

I came to Canada on 27th January on a visit VISA to see my husband. Before coming, we did apply for my Open Work permit as my husband is here on an employer based work permit under NOC '0'. I received approval for my Work permit on 28th January and was asked to undergo medical. Medical was performed and CIC has asked me to submit my passport for stamping. Since I am in Canada, I do not want to send my passport rather would do flag poling.

Can anyone advise if we can do flag poling on Sunday. Also, should I go to Niagara Falls border to Buffalo and Fort Erie.

Thanks

You can't flagpole as an alternative to submitting your passport for stamping. You still have to submit your passport for stamping. Once your passport has been stamped with the work permit visa, you will then have to flagpole to trigger the visa and be issued the actual work permit.

Are you serious? I was informed by my lawyer that I can do flag poling.
