Hello. I read that the first draw was already made and the score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 886 points.

I'm looking forward to applying for this Visa (under NOC 2171) but I have no experience IN CANADA.
I used the score calculator and my result was around 457 points.

This means I have no chance then...

I'm 25 years old, with 2 degrees <3 years. 4 years experience of work. Advanced English skill. Same goes for my partner.

What do you think? Is the Canadian experience really necessary? There's no way my results will go above this number, except for maybe one year more of work experience.

Thanks in advance.

This is only the first draw out of many many more to come. People are acting like this is the end of the world. Ofcourse, CIC is giving priority to people with valid job offer like they have always said they would in this system. People without valid job offer will probably get picked down the line when the supply of applicants with valid job offer run out. So either you wait patiently until that happens or try to get a valid job offer/PNP to secure invitation sooner.
