Ainex,

A draft is a foreign- denominated cheque. You have to request this to the bank or you may send money order. Payable to the Receiver General for Canada...The said payment should be in Canadian Dollar....This should be included in your application forms...

hello everyone! i just sent the docs to Nova Scotia today. after 2-3 days daw matatanggap. i'm thinking of preparing na the required docs for the visa office. haha. mashado akong alert. as if naman ma-aapprove but i'm really hoping everything goes well. for the school records, dapat ba original lahat, TOR and diploma and dapat manggaling from the school? tapos everything else original din except for passport, right? thank u sa lahat. grabe super helpful tlaga tong forum na to. that's why i'm quite positive magiging ok application ko kse i learned from this forum alone. thank u 2x sa lahat ;D

Hey annie,

Good to hear that you have forwarded your initial application...Hope that it will be assess properly and soon will receive a positive response in the next two months.

Its good also to hear that you are starting to gather documents. For your guidance you better check the specific visa requirements so that you will be well prepared and guided as to what documents you will gather. What's your selected visa office?

As to educational credentials, only the TOR should be original and must be sealed in your university envelop.

ung sa school ko, all original especially TOR and i had the it placed in an envelope with official seal on it. Ang diploma ko original din..ngaakk!!!! ( sorry OC kasi ako, nahawa sa mga consultants) pero di sya magkasya sa envelope kaya di ko na pinalagay..( sayang naman) all original din po all COE for me and hubby and yes except ang passport, but i had mine notarized..

i tried calling kanina Nationwide at YES!!! nacontact ko kagad. when i had medical kc, nakita ko may nagaanswer na ng phone 8 am kaya tumawag ako 8am.say ng girl, 3 pm pa daw ang follow up, but she answered by inquiry parin.hehehe, naawa ata sakin, kasi nagpasweet ang lola m ng konti.

Say nya, no additional tests na daw samin lahat and for sending nalang sa embassy!!!yeheeeyy..so happy...pwede na akong kumain marami!!!!!medyo umabot kasi sa boarderline ang sugar ko a week before. my doctor gave me metformin..hahaha and drank 6 liters water everyday. si hubby naman tumaas BP pero pinainom din sya gamot

kaya friends, if money permits, magpacheck up mna bago magpamedicals...para peace of mind lang 8) 8)

Sent my application on january 27, 2010 and CIO recvd my package on feb.3, 2010. i've used my credit card for paying the fees. until now wala pa po akong aor. nag worry lang po ako baka nagkaron ng problema sa pag debit sa cc ko dahil hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin sya debited.

meron po ba dito na same scenario? may nabasa kasi ako dito na naka receive ng email na invalid credit card details and he was asked to submit a different card number or bank draft within 30 days. medyo nag worry na po kasi ako eh. hindi naman po bumalik ung application package ko so i assume na baka may problema sa pag debit ng account ko.

really need your opinion!

thats good, siguro mahirap talaga pag long distance kasi been calling them up since monday tapos hirap na hirap me call.anyways, good advise if afford talaga better check before going through med exam......sure sabi ko sa sarili ko this will be a good week.....God bless.....

ur application to CIO is still within the normal time span. give ur self a week more. there's no way we can contact cio, unless na nasa canada ka. patience talaga ang labanan pag nasa CIO palang ang documents...

as per experience, my draft was encashed a day before i rcvd my first aor..

ahh ganun pala...ganun din ako, initial application ko sa NS kami lang ni hubby. I thought kc pag kami lang dalawa, ang POF para lang din samin dalawa. Ngaakk!!! nagkamali ako. para pala sa lahat ng members ng family, accompanying or not. nagdagdag din ako ng payment para sa 3 kids ko but i sent it along with my full docs sa visa office as per my consultants.

Guys sa mga naghahanap ng consultants, medyo oks ung sakin ( based sa galaw ng docs ko). mura pa. may TV show cla every sunday sa NBN channel.

i checked it before sa bank kung naencashed ur cheque, tama, good sign daw un...meaning gumagalaw..

hello po, just a question lang po.. Tapos na po ako magmedical.. I really don't have an idea about the process.. So after medical, sure na po ba na magkakavisa ako? Lahat nang results ko are good so far, except yung HIV screening hindi ko pa nakita yung results.. sabi kasi nang hospital they will be the one who will forward the results.. So how many po ba malalaman if you passed the medical and you are ready for visa issuance? I had my medical last March 25 and they said they passed it last March 27.. Thank you..

ah kaya nagtaka ako eh.. kasi ung sa draft, P45 ata ung rate namin ni hubby.. daya ng banmk ko, hehe

nagpapacheck up kba now? kasi plan ko pa medical prior to meds.. pero ntatakot din ako baka may makita at xempre kailangan ko sabihin during my medical dba? may mga symptoms ako ng hypothyroidism eh, at ayoko na bigla may diagnosis. kasi sa medical i believe U/A, BP, at CBC lang? eh wala naman dun ung TSH, T3, or any thyroid test. un naman isang worry ko now. kaya alam ko kahit mareceive ko mes ko, d ako matatahimik hanggat may visa na
