may be they will finished out till march file transfer you never know...cause they will ask for meds till march and enjoy x mas because no work from their end...it is for us to do the meds and pp which will take @ 20 days max for all by then new year they are back to work and start their job again...just my guess....cheers ;D ;D

Even in my case ,full documents were submitted in April and 8 months in November ...

Only one question is how can they keep original passports for such a long period....


They don't even give an acknowledgment of passports receipt also ..

will chc process those cases which are abt to reach 8 months afer the docs sent or threy will continue the way they are working on file xfer basis......since they are writing 8 months in each letter we see...i think they will give some leverage to 8 months time period..what say....you have a better understanding of the situation then me....cheers...arun

As per the reply to Case specific enquiry, it is clear that they will start processing in 8 months after full docs reached to them

Yeah there are 5-6 people in this thread whose 8 months will be finished in dec so, lets hope they get meds soon.

yesterday i Talked with my friend who is in canada, he spoke to cic call centre. they have mailed my CAIPS Note on 24th of november at my friend's address.. as soon as i receive, will post it

yes tarak they are really unpredictable....
max we can do is write them a mail after 8 months and get a standard reply....or dear if we are lucky then meds in 1st or 2nd week of dec....i think we should get this time ...all the best to you and all others....

I think we can mail them now only.... Yes, they'll say we should not contact them till 8 months so, basically we'll hve chance to email them one more time as soon as 8 months are over.

The email we send them should be very polite so, at least the operator would bother to reply.

as per my understanding the 8 month timeline indicating only current trend and does not predict that case will be completed in 8 months, it can go 9,10,11,12 months for medicals, this is evident in other CHC around the world. Many cases are still waiting medicals even after 12 months. We can only pray to God for quick medical and visa. Not trying to discourage anybody but just explaining ground realities. I am in the same dilemma as everybody else is. This wait is kiling the ethusiasm of immigrating to Canada.

Will you please help me in calculating 6-12 months period in Fast track immigration process...

When do they start calculating of 12 months :

From time they receive our application in Nova Scotia

or from the date they transfer files to local visa office ?

or even when we we submit full documents to local visa office

I am really confused ?

I have gone through all your post. I belive your case is quite similar to mine but the difference is that I have completed my Master in Business Administration ( 2 year via Distance mode) from ICFAI University ,Dehradun . I have gone through OP6 . I am sure that i am going to get full points of my education.

To help you better :

(1) What is written in your Final MarkSheet & Degree Certificate ?

(2) Confirm wheter Symbiosys Distance mode is Approved under UGC & having Gazatte Notification ?

Now I am able to see the status. My old file number (applied 1 year before & rejected) is stopped to work and the new one is working fine from yesterday.
