Hi all,

Went to the DMP for Med. exam. So, he basically asked me to do some more blood tests and said he also need to refer me to a specialist. He'll call me back i believe with an apptm date. Meanwhile, I try eating healthy but yeah like everyone else no sign of Buffalo.

This thread is quiet or there is nothing new to report.
I got a copy of my BD that was cashed by Buffalo from my bank. I can see my file number that begins with letter B.
Though the file number is not yet activated in ecas.

Hi
I just received this e-mail last Friday from Buffalo:

The results of the background check have been received.

Your file is in line for a review by an immigration officer. We cannot estimate when a decision will be made, but we assure you that you will hear from us once the officer reviews your file.

Please be aware processing times are simply averages and subject to change.

What do you think? Is the ppr on its way?

What is your timeline? When did you send your documents to Buffalo?

Being in line for the final review is a good thing in that you don't have to worry about the background check anymore. I hope you get your ppr soon.

For me nothing new under the sun. Still waiting...

Guys, it seems things are happening very slow or they are not happening at all ;D
I see that folks from the other provinces also experience delays. I guess florida and digital got really LUCKY! :p

aint sure gov't understand "luck" or "frustration"... this is pure bureaucracy system. They like to take time even though they know on day one what's the answer, so they may show that they are working somehow.

No news. One friend of mine got an email for asking her passport. She sent her files in the end of June and did the medical examination in the beginning of Sep. Wow, I'm really jealous of her.
And, it will snow on Friday in Montreal. Winter is coming~~~~

Fallsage, can you please share some more info about your friend, because she has the same time frame as Ans, Florida and Digital. Can you tell us which visa office she applied in, was she in the preferred areas of training, also age and marital status. Florida was thinking they processed his application fast because he is 23, not married, so they didnt basically take long for his background check since he has to describe only 5 years in his background declaration. What do you guys think?
