I'll call my MP if I don't hear back soon, but first will order CAIPS Notes on Monday. Has anyone else than ton40 been contacted by VO?

I have received my FBI clearance report today in mail. I have already sent my PR application package to Buffalo, NY but have not received AOR so far.

Should I send my FBI record now or should I wait for them to ask me ?

Please inform me asap.

Many thanks

I believe you should wait until receiving AOR. Upon receiving it, write a cover letter to say you are sending FBI clearance and mention AOR. I'm awaiting for them to send aor as well. I need to forward a 2nd CSQ because the initial one contains an error.
What's your timeline Eng_Mtl?

Thanks ae03,

I am just going to wait on the AOR. Why kind of error do you have in your 1st CSQ ? also i believe it will not be necessary as Buffalo has a copy of every CSQ approved by Quebec immigration department.

My timeline is as follows :

1- CSQ applied Feb 2010,
2- CSQ received Sept 2010
3- Complete PR application sent Nov 2010

Now i am just waiting on AOR and Medicals. Can you tell me from your experience how much longer do i have to wait I am living in Montreal. Also will the Christmas break make this process go slow ? I am thinking of going to my native country and wait till i get my landing papers, is it possible to leave Canada before PR process ?

Many Thanks

Eng_mtl,

I do believe there's tiny chance they mail us anything in 2010. And you are right to be worry due to Christmas vacation I have a sense that they will have low number of employees. If you want to travel home do you intend of coming back before your current status expires or you plan on staying there at all time?

Listen guys, I have a question. Now since we know our file number can we do the medicals before we receive the request for them. Second week passed since they send us that e-mail to update the address and nothing comes in the mail. I am loosing my patience. I really hoped we can leave to Montreal beginning of May....
