  4. We sent you a notice on March 22, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 6, 2017 at 12:30 PM. Hi everyone , Just like to share my timeline with you and like to thanks all the support from this page and wish a good luck to all applicants.

Applicants : Family of 3 ( 2 Adults + 1 Child ) / City : Oakville, ON / CIC office : Hamilton .

  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 24, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on March 24, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on April 12, 2017.
  4. We sent you correspondence on May 2, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. (( Finger Print ))
  5. We sent you a notice on May 31, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on July 13, 2017 at 8:32 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us. Passed scored 20/20 for both applicants
  6. We sent you a notice on October 18, 2017 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 14, 2017 at 9:10 AM. The notice you will receive will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
status update from IP to DM , my spouse on July 14 / my updates was October 6 / my son status still shown IP .

Happy to report that I took my oath on Friday, October 20th ! :)

Officially a (dual) Canadian citizen... Almost exactly 8 months to the day that my application started processing.

Please update the spreadsheet.
