Hi,

I see that the intake of applications for sponsoring parents is now closed and will open it Jan 2017. I know my application will be placed in queue and will only be processed after the application above me.

Can I apply now to be the part of the queue or I can only apply in Jan 2017?

Please advise.

2017 intake should open on first business day of 2017, so that should be Tuesday Jan 3.

To apply in 2017 you'll need your Canadian tax returns meeting LICO for 2013, 2014 and 2015.

I have one question: if the sponsor has not had 3 years of income assessment, but the co-signer has had and met the LICO, is the application eligible to apply?

hello everyone.
can somebody please help me.... i and my husband we want to sponsor my parents. we will be by end of this year family of 4 and plus my parents (2). so in total 6 persons. for 2014 income requirement for family of 6 is $ 73,072. we are short $3611. is there any way we can get those $3611 missing dollars of one of ours notice of assesment. or if its only missing 3611 dollars they still will aprove sponsorship? i really dont wanna wait till 2019 to sponsor my parents because we are short $3611 that year very sad

Previously submitted travel history, police certificate, and schedule A.
It has been less then a month and received a correspondence via email from Delhi Branch (Canada) requesting for the same paperwork to be submitted via email without any reasons for it.

Can somebody help me this:

Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature. updated and completed Schedule A with details personal history from when you and your spouse turned 18 years old. This must be received at this office by: 2016/07/23

Ø > Travel History Info Form: Information on your previous travel history (trip duration and purpose) including citizenship and resident document information. for both. This must be received at this office by: 2016/07/23

Ø > FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate for both This must be received at this office by: 2016/07/23

Ø > Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate for you This must be received at this office by: 2016/07/23
(Date format is YYYY/MM/DD)

Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and send to the High Commission at the e-mail address. Unless specifically requested, original documents are not required. You may submit scanned copies by e-mail.

CIC will not approved the sponsorship if you are even a dollar short. You will have to wait until 2019 to apply.
