Hi,
Sorry if it sound very dumb person w/out doing proper study. Can someone help on few questions below:

Background: 1. I'm in Delhi, India and have Mother's brother in Canada staying for 30+ yrs. Before I approach him to ask for help:

1.What does he needs to do to help us start this immigration process?
2. Can he sponsor all of my family- parents and my immediate family?
3. I'm also eligible for CEC (thgh returned to India this weekend only)? So shall apply under family sponsorship, or shall I let my parents apply under family sponsorship and I apply along with my family under CEC?

Please advise?

Your uncle is only eligible to sponsor his sister (your mom) if he is single, has no kids, and no other relatives in Canada, and his parents are both deceased. If not, he does not qualify to sponsor any of you.

You should look at CEC option.

Your parents will not be able to be sponsored until after you've been making income in Canada at least 3+ years.

Thanks,
So my Mom's brother is married and has kids as well. So will he not be able to sponsor my mother (his sister)?
Whats the work around (if any)?

Thanks

No he can't sponsor her. There is no workaround.

Also, if you apply under CEC, you cannot include your parents or siblings in the application. It is only for you, your partner and children, if any.

Understand, thanks for help.
I'm applying under CEC next month for myself and spouse. What is the best way to call parents early in Canada? My mom has sister, brother and some aunts/uncles but most have childrens and other blood relations in Canada?

Your parents can come for a temporary visit to Canada using either a regular visitor visa or a super visa. However sponsoring them for PR will be another matter. Only you can sponsor your parents. Your mom's sister, brother, and aunts/uncles cannot.

In order for your to sponsor your parents you will need to meet the low income cut off for the size of your family for at least three years in a row and prove this by providing at least three years of Canadian tax returns. Once you submit the application, you should expect the processing time to be at least 3 years - quite likely longer.

There is no fast way to get your parents here permanently

A Canadian employer can sponsor you on a work permit if you find one willing to do so (lots of paperwork and fees involved). But would only sponsor you. You would still need to sponsor your parents and other relatives on your own.

Not for your parents. The rules are very strict.

After you arrive in Canada, you can expect to wait anywhere from 4-5 years before you will be eligible to submit an application to sponsor your parents.
