What do you put for the following, even if I selected Educational Activity? Do I need to mention the position I was in during employment?

"Please describe what this person was doing during this period (e.g. job title, position, etc.)"

I have to initiate the Express Entry process. I am as Indian, currently in Saudi Arabia for last 8 yrs. In case i have to file for immigration, do it makes a difference whether i file a application through Saudi Arabia or through India.

Kindly advise....

These were earned during full time employment.

These were for Workshops and training programs I attended. Some were diplomas and certificates, but less than 1 year.

As these certificates and short programmes don't earn you any points I would suggest them to be kept out of your application. And since there was no break in your employment to do these certificates you can mention only 'employed' during the period.

I have my employment and education details that I claim points for on top of the Personal History, pre-filled. If I want to add records in date order, do I need to remove the pre-filled ones and re-add them again?

I am not sure what you want to ask. But as long as everything is in a sequence and there are no gaps in between, you are fine.

Does not make a difference if you r applying from other region. Quality of the application and documentation are things where it matters a lot mate.

Hi Guys,

How does it work for self employed people?

My total experience post MBA is as mentioned below:

Org 1 India - Sr Sales executive
27/11/2011 - 18/04/2012 = 4 months

Org 2 - Regional Sales (Sr Sales Executive)
29/04/2012 - 30/05/2014 = 25 monthd
Same company - promotion to Sales manager
1/06/2014 - 30/9/2014 = 4 months

1/10/2014 - 20/11/2016 - trading business (No company) ITR available based on savings account transactions.

20/11/2016 - present - wholesale trading business (owner of a firm),

As for my experience in red, I have ITR to prove the work done, other than that I do not have any supporting documents. My total experience qould become 6 years if I add the red marked. However, as the EE points max out at 3 years, shall I just not add in for points? What about FSW points for 6 years

Guys,

How do you order the Personal History details,

1. Add records according to the "Since what year?" so that it shows in order

OR

2. Add records according "To" so that similar records with closer "To" dates are closer together.
