One of my friends is applying for PR, she's currently on work visa in Canada. She is completing her 2 years in the current job in September. She's planning to quit. Does she have to complete 2 years to gain more points. Also does she have to stay in the job until she gets her PR or can she just quit.

It's not really possible to answer either of your questions.

Whether she needs to remain in the job for 2 years to gain more points depends on how she plans to apply for PR and how many points she has without the 2 years of work experience.

Whether she needs to remain in the job until PR also depends on how she applies for PR. If she claims job offer points or if her PR application is employer supported, she needs to remain in the job until PR.
