Guys, quick question: do you think raising CSE delays processing of one's case? I am in a dilemma because I submitted a black-and-white scan of my USA PCC and the water mark on the sheet is not visible. Now I am trying to establish whether this is worth submitting a CSE since I already submitted one. Feedback much appreciated.
I dont think it will have major impact.

FBI Summary Check has an e-number - which allows to cross-check.

However, yes, as you said, it is better to raise CSE and get it to VIO.

Have you heard of anyone being rejected because of this?
Police certificates need to be a scan of the original police certificate(s) in color. Certified true copies and unauthorized copies are unacceptable and will result in the application being rejected as incomplete.

Right. Thanks! I tried re-scanning it today in color in the highest possible resolution and there is absolutely no difference with the scan I submitted before. The watermarks are still not visible, so I guess I'll just let it go.

Yes :) don't stress it out - as Andy mentioned they have a tracing back mechanism to verify its authenticity - we are good to go! Cheers :D

Just to clarify - we were not referring to true attested copies or unauthorised copies - just the water mark not been visible (solely because of the stationery used by the US PCC deptt.) do not render it an invalid copy. I can certify this as I did got my US PCC done again recently after my trip in Sep'16, it was on a better contrast water mark printed stationary and was visible in coloured scanned and my wife's was done last July'16 which had the watermark problem. Hence, I had a reference point to check on it :)

Hi guys,
I am trying to look for a previous post that explains the change in status of documents and BG checks status ... Kindly post the link if you know it.

I'm trying to understand when would you know your R10 and A11.2 are in progress or passed ?

Any info on that would be helpful.. as I still have my BG as not needed and documents in "no additional documents needed at this time " and not "provided"

Now am freaked out! the PCC I uploaded is a black and white copy of original with the certified translation. Should I raise CSE?

Not sure if this will help you. see the explanation from legalfalcon on the below link

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/aor-august-2016-join-here-t440878.0.html;msg5470488#msg5470488

You won't know the progress except from your GCMS notes. Order then when you are 1.5 to 2 months into the process.
