Email approval of VISA- got confusion

The email attachment from the CHC mentioned in this fashion

'Your application to study in Canada has been approved.
Your study permit will be issued to you upon arrival in Canada, subject to your compliance with the
requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and its Regulations. It will allow you to study
in Canada for a temporary period only. Read the terms and conditions carefully. To facilitate your arrival in Canada, inform the officer of the reason for your visit (study) and present this letter with your passport.

My question is will my passport be stamped with the visa???? what is that subject to your compliance with the
requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and its Regulations.??????

congrats. yes visa will be stamped on passport and a letter will be sent with your passport to you whenever u receive your passport.
The terms described are just rules for international students in canada.
A study permit will be issued when you reach the port of entry, canada.

Congrats. You will soon get your stamped passport back along with your documents and a letter of introduction. you will get a study permit at the port of entry.

Visa and Study permit are two different things.

You have been issued TRV i.e Temporary resident visa.

Study permit is one which will be issued and pasted to your passport at your Point of entry i.e at your arrival airport.


So, yes your passport will be stamped with visa.

I got admission from simon fraser university. I applied for visa on 5 feb and recievd visa on 4 march.
