Can live-in caregivers collect EI if they have only been here 4 months and fired or quit. I have a friend in this situation.
Thanks!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
4 months is borderline enough time to qualify for EI. It depends on how many hours they've worked. They need to get the record of employment from their employer. Even if they do have enough hours, it's still tricky to get EI, especially if they quit or were fired for a good reason. They should still apply for it anyway. Might get denied but never know if you don't try.

depends in the province that she works at.i quit my job and applied for ei but was not approved, sez lack of working hours.so check in the website about how to apply for ei.and also if she quit s then she has to show proof that there is a valid reason(i have a valid reason) why she quits her job.
