I am drawing a comparison.... :)

Medical Results Received was only added after sponsorship was approved from Quebec (July 5th), which says the same in my GCMS notes (July 11). And I cannot say exact date Medical Results line were added because we were looking at e-cas only once every few days at that time...

Maybe your VO operates differently...
In my experience "In Process" occurs once you've passed the eligibility assessment at your visa office.

Medical results may not necessarily be dealt with at the visa office handling your case.

Perhaps you are right...

As for Medical Results, it was entered by Paris office...just saying.... ;)

Anyway, if I do not see any change in e-cas (although I know they do not always update it), by the Application Assignment due date of September 7th (although it is a Saturday - do they work on Saturday??), we will make another request for notes the week after....:)

Not sure if they're going quicker in Paris. I know in London they seem to be working on applicants whose file got there in March time.

My e cas status is " Application received ". It doesn't say Medical result has been received. We sent medicals along with application package.

I received GCMS notes today. Notes also mention CSCD date not entered as original IMM 1017 NOT PROVIDED. Where and how can we get IMM 1017 FORM ? Doctor only gave us a copy of bar coded form.

What pages should I look at FOR INFORMATION ?Looks like Eligibility, Medical, Security, Criminality : Not starteD

I think it does go a bit quicker in Paris (average seems to be 6 months total), but in our case, not sure it will. I would like to believe that they have started Security and Criminality checks because it would then mean they believe our relationship is genuine; (short courtship before marrying) and have decided to waive an interview. An interview would add another month or two... :-[

Yes, mine says CSCD date not entered. Photos without info on back. Case will be referred.

I think they are saying that you sent them IMM 1017 form but it was not the original; just a copy. Maybe doctor kept original? Would be strange though because they know that the original is needed...

I have read somewhere on this forum that at least one person had same problem; told that the form they sent is not the original. I will look at the scanned copy we have of my hubby's IMM 1017 and see if we can compare...

Our ECAS has been sitting as application received and medical received since we were able to access ECAS in mid January :(
Our notes indicate In Progress
We just received our second set of notes and nothing has changed since March 25th... except the first set of notes is recorded
Hopefully we will go In Process soon

Mm, I think the processing time for Singapore is 26 months whereas some of us is 8-9 months...But if your case has no red flags, I am sure that it will go faster than that!
I wonder if there are any threads specific to Singapore timelines that may be of help...?

Do you think they match the medicals whether or not the case is accepted (Visa issued)? I was hoping it was a good indication that it would be issued...I am worried now because hubby has interview...

Ecas is not very reliable, so don't think too much about it.
It's also very common for people to see "medicals have been received" once the file is transferred to the Visa Office, and it stays at "application received" for a while. Some people ( me included) never went to "in process" but directly decision made.

Medicals have been received means that they have matched your medicals with your file, it doesn't mean that somebody is actually looking at your file.

ABout what they check first - it seems to depend on the VO and in general there isn't much info about it. So - for now, best to sit back and relax, immigration is a long process. You're lucky though - Paris is usually quite fast!

Good luck,
Sweden
