Hi all

I had my interview on the 14th of December and I was successful. The interviewer says as I have informed them I am married, I would be sent further correspondence about medicals which I have to do together with my spouse. I didn't have the intention of adding my spouse to the application at the moment but seems the interviewer wants her included. I would like to know if adding her now wouldn't delay the processing.

Regards

Your spouse must complete the medical, provide PCCs and go through the background/security check whether your spouse is accompanying or non-accompanying. You have no choice since you got married. Yes - this will increase the overall processing time of your application.
