the credential acceptance.

and one more thing i've read that you have applied in the doctors category in the fsw class can you please tell me what supportng documents you
have submitted apart from the experience certificate. I have just done one year of internship after my mbbs. in 2006 How can I make my application strong can you tell me something about the cover letter that you might have sent in with the application. thanks in advance.

I discussed with you earlier as well, I am having just 1 year of exp as you told me earlier that you also applied with 1 year of exp and you got initial approval I am planning to apply soon please guide me I am thinking whether to take a lawyer or I can apply myseld my only worry is 1 year of exp thatswhy I am thinking whether i should hire a lawyer to prepare some covering letters.

you said earlier that you didnt hire a lawyer, please guide me what supporting letter I should submit other then the forms and documents mentioned in the checklist.

Yes, I have applied using my internship (one year) work experience & have -thank god- got a positive eligibility from CIO..
I didn't apply using any lawyers & I would recommend you do the same as long as you don't mind reading their instruction book very carefully..

I thought I had what they asked for (which is the one year experience at work), thus haven't thought of making any cover letters.. Only made sure that my job duties are as close as possible to the ones under NOC 3112 they're asking for. As well as, making sure to supply all proofing documents they had asked for (such as my salary during this year, job duties & ofcourse dates).. The only thing that was missing & required a cover letter clarification was a contract, because in my country they don't give us contracts on internships.. I just wrote so.. & I haven't supplied anything extra than what they have asked for in the checklists.

First, sorry for the delay in replying, I just saw your post..
Second, I am ofcourse with every opportunity that would get you in the system (even temporarily), even volunteering would be a good opportunity (if a person can afford not being paid for a while), but unfortunately I don't know exactly about its requirements.. Still, I suggest you contact the access center I have given their website before & register as they offer one to one counseling & answering of all your questions on Skype, on the phone or one to one (whatever you wish for).. I have registered with them & they have recontacted me but I haven't still done the online meeting..

When I speak with them I'll ask them about locums as well & come back with the answers..

thanks for the kind words, I am just trying to share whatever knowledge I find with you..
Canada has started acknowledging family medicine training in UK, but still haven't "yet" acknowledged other.. but it's still very important for all of us doctors, because, that could be the start for more acknowledgments..
We are still waiting for more good news from them

Btw going trough Toronto notes which is good for MCCEE and more importantly MCCQE1. Very informative and actually not too difficult to read. Preventive Health by Shah is also good to get an idea about medicine in Canada which also pays to know when sitting for the MCC exams. Best of luck to all preparing for MCCEE or other MCC exams.

I am thinking of this fall. It is NOT an easy exam :| I think u really have to be prepared for this exam to pass it. For now going through toronto notes and Preventive medicine book by Shah. Which i think is enough for the reading part. I was thinking of either doing USMLE3 Qbank or ultimate questions for MCCQE1 by Chen for the MCQ questions part and maybe Ottawa notes for the CDM part of MCCQE1.

I am still to take my MCCEE. Hopefully by next September
