I live in Abu Dhabi and me and my wife worked in a quite good company. I haven't got my visa - God knows when. ;D We just finished our MR on August and after reading the post of Marcus, it made me realize that I have to think over again if it will be worth it to leave our job for Canada.qorax said:Rents might be similar, but salaries r not. Its way higher, for example in the UAE. And cost of living is at least 50% less. Thats why Canadians r targeting the UAE and all the English teachers there r Canadians.
Dear Marcus,
u have been in Canada for 3 months only! we all were prepared that we would not get a job for at least the first year. you should have prepared urself financially before taking the descion of quitting ur job and move to Canada. best of luck finding a good job.
But then, came this post of Qorax, thanks the excitement is back!!! I know, it will be hard at first, the grandiosity of life in Abu Dhabi may not be the same in Canada. But the quality of life i know, will be better.
The point is, not everyone will be happy or satisfied, not everyone will be contented in the same level, but we have our own freewill to actually deal with the decisions we make in our lives and I am sure everyone of us will find our ways to it - it all boils down to attitude.
