Dear friends

my medical has been done 31st July 2015. During medical exams, small hole was detected in my 9th month daughter through improper heart beating.
As i already checked up my daughter personally in the month of march 2015, where VSD 4mm hole was detected , for which pediatric cardio docter told me verbaly that she is fine it will be close with the passage of time , no need of medicine and surgical interventions.

So I showed that report to Canadian docters and they accepted to forward further for review. In appearance my daughter is fine , she is growing well. now me worried about immigration case. so please suggest me and share ur and other experience regarding this issue.regards

Engineer80.. It is well. Once the doctors can explain that she will be fine while in Canada you have no problem. Her heart situation is not a contagious decease that can get contracted by others. Canada is worried about contagious deceases like TB, HIV, Hepatitis and so on that can draw demands from Canadian public fund on health service delivery. You'll be fine.

No experience buddy on this.... But wish good health for your daughter and also eligibility for immigration..... As far as medical knowledge, this small hole should recover with age... I had a friend with his son having same problem and he recovered without any major treatment... Wish you and little angel good luck.... And I think VO will positively accept your case... Do update.... Take care....!!!

This isn't correct. Canada is not just worried about contagious diseases. Canada is worried about any medical issues that could create demands on health services - this certainly includes heart conditions.

Having said that, I think the OP should be fine as doctors have said his daughter's condition will improve on its own without medical intervention.

dear others , plz help .....
Please quit worrying, it won't help. Believe the doctors report. Immigration will go with doctor's report too so no need to be panicky

Hi Engineer80, can you please confirm what is the status or your pr process now? Did you passed the medical exam, I am in same situation where my son has ASD of 8mm but not on any medication and is well and quite active. wondering if this ASD will cause any delay or trouble to my case? Please reply or whatsapp me at 07424526800. Thanks in advance for your help.
