If this rumor of overall cap reached is true, people who got charged is in a safe area or not?

My CC was charged and I'm waiting PER by this week, maybe next.

I am reeeeeeally worried right now!

Tathy, u don't need to worry if you are charged... U will get PER 99.99%... if the cap is reached CIC wont take money...

Dont worry Guys he is spreading misinformation. Reason
1: If overall cap is reached than they use word MI.. Global cap has been reached not saying we have x number of completed applications. We have seen this trend for CEC. So it is not overall cap reached.
2. one or two people can lie but not so many who even received PER after this date despite been charged for people upto 29th.
3. So many of us spoke to CIC and nobody reported this apart from some lairs.

So friends dont panic no overall cap is reached game is still ON. Pray for every one to get positive answer.

how can the overall cap be reached in mid-december when we can see 19.dec applicants get their PERs (and we even have 30.dec applicant charged today)

if the overall (global) cap is reached, then whenever someone calls them, they would have the same answer: "overall cap is reached" - and that is not the case...

I plan to call CIC myself (tomorrow will be 10 weeks since my app arrived),
can someone please advise me what to say so I can get some info (or even UCI number)?

I got charged FEB 23. My consultant is Canadian registered and a very good one, she told us that being charged means being considered within the cap. But now they will check if the contents of your app match their eligibility requirements. Now, all ocupations differ from each other to various lengths therefore getting PER for an accountant might be faster than for say an optometrist or mining engineer. But I guess we should be getting our PERs this or next week.

A friend of mine called CIC today and they informed him that his application has been returned due to cap being full. He applied for 0711. Is it even possible? In last update there was only less than 150 applications for that cap. How is that even possible?

His application was submitted on December 29th.

I swear god that I am not spreading rumors. He is extremely desperate and just let me know.

First of all I was very proud to be a member of this forum where I got lots of help & support in my 1st FSW journey. But today when I'm feeling ashamed as when a forumate needs the most support our fellow members are calling them liar.may be some of us are just unlucky. But thanks mate may be you don't agree with our say but you shouldn't lose respect for yourself. Because I said what I heard from CIC agent not only once twice.

i am very very frustated now.
if the overall cap is reached by 16th dec according to cellogreen why they charged later dates.
whats going on.................................................

pls read the messages calmly before coming to conclusions on specific dates.
