hi,i wanna sponsor my wife who is from iran but we dont have pictures of our wedding and we had a simple ceremony in iran,we have been in relationship for 2 years and we have a lot of pictures,my question is:does it make any problem for us?,does it have bad effect on immigration officer decision?

aziz, dont worry too much about the pictures and stuff like that, make sure all the documents are COMPLETE, make sure you arent missing any information and send everything they ask , to be honest with you pictures or telephone bills wont delay your case or affect it but an incomplete package will, so concentrate on the application, and then when its all done, whatever you have send it to them, i dont even have stuff from 3 years ago when i met my wife so i sent whatever i could find, anyways good luck va khosh amadi be jame montazeran

wow isnt this IRONIC, the embassies in cairo RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION today, so all the embassies are open and back to normal in egypt and a few countries over they are about to close

AOR is basically when you go on E CASE https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en and when you log in it says YOUR FILE WAS RECEIVED IN DAMASCUS ON ......... DATE , thats AOR, Some people get an email, some people don't, i didn't get an email, but i saw on ecase it said it was received on march 1st, but Acknowledge of Receipt is basically when your file arrives in Damascus, its not a big deal, you should send the medical as soon as you can though

Ok that was WEIRD! i Just logged on to Ecase just to check it out, Usually i put in my client number and it shows my info and everything, so instead i decided to put in my wife's information and the filer number (BXXX XXX XXX) , so anyways it goes in and it says the same thing it does on mine but the address they had was TOTALLY wrong, and you guys know address is VERY important to them, the difficult thing was for example if my address in Canada changes i can update it online instantly, but for her i had to send a CASE SPECIFIC INQUIRY through the Canadian embassy's website, so anyways I'm just glad i saw this now and not a few months down the road, i mean its not a big deal really since they don't mail anything to her anyways and when the time comes for her to send in her passport her address is on the envelope but still i didn't want something so small like a mistype of her address cause problems,

Hi hanna our timeline it's almost same my application start processing on may 18 - 2010 and my medical expired as well and I sent second one on march 9 - 2011 but still nothing yet just I talk to my mp she said your application is near completion so just wait . Let's hope they are going to issue us our soon :-[

Hi saman, when you sent the second medical did they request it from you? I just forgot to ask this before.
