Mozm
Hi,

Nothing much have changed except that now we need to amalgamate both the CIC & the CHC stages into One and send the apps initially to CIO-NS.

That was for the application process.

On the overall system, there's just a quota now... For both, the Total Applications Approved, as well as in each NOC (20,000 & 1,000 respectively).

Dear Qorax,

I am really in tensed moment now... I need your opinion.
I have applied with NOC.1111. You can see me timeline in left.
I have Masters in accounting & have almost 12 years Job experience(as a Accountant + Banker) & EILTS point -10.

I have mentioned experience like below
6 years as accountant & 5 years Banking as a Foreign exchange officer( now working in a bank as SEO)...
Is it ok for this NOC.?

Hared from Other thread that for this NOC one must have auditing job profile with accounting professional degree.
I am very tensed as almost 5 ½ month over & still have not got any update from SG CHC...

Please advise me in details..

Hi Qorax
I have sent my full docs to london visa office on 15th July which was received on 19th July. Can you guess when i would have received my 2nd AOR?

2) secondly, after how many days of the 2nd AOR, the visa office would contact the work place....(for those who have received their 2nd AOR)

I will appreciate the help...

thanks

1. Plz give it a month or two (max) for the 2nd AOR.
2. It's not necessary that they'd contact u or your employers.
3. Nonetheless, b/ground checks would commence from the AOR.

If u meet at least 70-80% of the duties in the NOC (as provided by HRSDC) u should be fine.

Qorax,

I have a query since long.

According to you whether any weightage given to the cases(Positive) where appliant has exposure of travelling to different countries.

And is this negative for those applied fo PR but never travelled outside home country.

Rgds,
Our foreign travel history fetches us nothing, good or bad. Except that if it's work related, then it shows your professionalism in the NOC, a bit. Which is surely a positive thing vis-a-vis the PR processing. But nothing overboard.

Qorax

Ps.: On the flip side, it actually increases the Security Screening timeframe (read delays).

Qorax

What is the meaning of 2nd AOR? Does it mean that the eligibility has been reviewed and the processing will be started shortly?

or it simply means we have received your final application..

Dear qorax:
My application was recieved by CIO on June 21st since I have lived in the USA and my PCC was valid at the time of sending my application and will be more than 3 months old when I will be getting any response from CIO, my question if my PCC from USA will be valid for CIC because it takes good four months to get another PCC.
Thank You

They may or may not ask u another. Nonetheless, if the processing takes long they might ask u for it again, sometimes along with the Meds. In that case, u may apply & intimate them of the probable timeframe to receive & despatch it. It's not a problem.
