Work - 21 points. Provided that in your 3 years of part time experience is equivalent to at least 6months of full time work.

Education - 20 points.

I presume PGD = pg diploma

yep, looks like it. Unless you can do some courses to change your PGD to Masters with an additional year of studies (i guess).

Good luck

After secondary education which is 12 years i did,

1 year diploma in computer science
4 years engineering degree in computer science
1 year PGd. in business management

Highest Degree/Diploma earns you 20 points

Latest

and got 1.5 years ful time experience in 0123 noc( its in noc list) - NOC list of 38 occupations plus minimum 1 year experience fulfilled
and 2 year full time experience in 2281 noc
3 years part time experience in 2281 noc
note: 2281 is not in 38 noc list now
Even though the NOC 2281 is not on the list of the 38 occupations, it is still one of the skilled occupations for which you will be awarded points. 2281 will be considered for experience points
Total Work Experience points = 1.5 years + 2 years + (assuming your 3 years part time experience is taken as 1 year). then you will have over 4 years experience that should be awarded points, and in my opinion you will get 21 points for 4 years and above.
So, 21 points

Age: 10 points

Ielts 14 points

can you please calculate points for education and experience :20+21=41 points
And, from all the above, total points:
20+21+10+14=65 points.

Am I missing something, as this amounts to less than the required minimum of 67?

thanks

Tell me about it. I came back from Germany yesterday, hoping to have left back the cold and snow, only to find out that even the UK has been hit by heavy snow.(LOL)
Have not been out since Friday.

My sentiments too.. Sitting at home with 12 Inches of snow outside I found this article
http://list.canadianbusiness.com/rankings/bestplacestolive/2009/Default.aspx?sp2=1&d1=a&sc1=6

Having weather as a factor in that list and that I read canada spends $1Billion in snow removal per year, made me ponder where I should choose to land.

I don't think it is anything to worry about though. These countries, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden etc are quiet used to and prepared for such situations. Should not be barrier factor, in my opinion.
I mean, I lived in the Alps of Bavaria, Germany for 15 years and really loved it. Not to talk of the kids and the winter sports.

You could go to Vancouver where it hardly ever snows but of course on the off chance that it does, they are not prepared and everything grinds to a halt because of a mere 2" :)

In the cities that are used to snow, they are prepared and so things will be a bit slower and people drive a bit more carefully but it doesn't really affect much. Of course you'll have to shovel though. Want to live in Alberta and want to rent/own a house? Then be prepared to stand outside in -30 or worse and showel your sidewalk :)

Definitely looking at Vancouver but again some monster.ca seems dry with opportunities in my area.
