Citizenship test outside Canada

I took the citizenship test. Got 20/20. Lookin forward for update in status tracker.

Did you write it from outside Canada? Did you contact IRCC via email and did they respond to it before you took the test?

Thanks for your update. I'm in a similar situation. I'm outside Canada and don't wanna travel for the next few months due to Covid and I need to write the test by Feb 20. I sent them an email that I'm outside but I haven't received a response from them.

My husband got test invitation and as per instructions we sent the email that we are outside of Canada and will like to take the test. However, no reply since then our test window is between Dec 17 to Jan 6, 2022.

Yes I sent an email to ircc.citonlinetest-testenlignecit.ircc@cic.gc.ca saying that I was outside Canada. In a day they answer and you can go ahead and do the test. The link to do the test is the same. Before the test check confirming that you are doing the test in Canada.

it said to write the email to the the Eligibility section of my invitation. For me, that's cic-ottawa-citizensh@cic.gc.ca. I've already sent them an email and not received a response. Do you suggest that I write an email to the one you sent to instead?

Yes , sent an email to them but don't 'waste' too much time and take the test. They will not direct you to another website. The test page is the same, nothing changes. Just send an email saying that you are taking the test outside Canada, that's it.

Hi, if we are taking test outside, do we have to check the box that test is being taken inside canada? Are they not both contradicting each other ?

No it is ok. They did not chance the website. Just send an email to them so you informed them about the fact you are outside the country.

i just got the test invite and plan to take the test outside canada.
anything specific i need to do other than email them.

does this delay the citizenship process .. if it does , i can always schedule to go to canada to do the test and fly back .

Did they ask for proof of travel for taking test outside? In my case, they wanted to make sure I'm actually outside.

I completed my citizenship test in Jan 2022 and still Language Skills and Physical Presence & Prohibition are pending. I think my application is in hold but I am not sure. Did anyone who took the test outside got the Oath without delay?

I came came back to canada one week after the test, stayed there for a few months. Now, I am in US
