Hello - we moved from US (Indian Citizens) to Canada in 2017 with our son (born in US in 2016). We are now thinking about applying for Canadian Citizenship (including our son). I understand that in general a child/person can be a dual citizen of US and Canada. Is there any specific pros/cons (especially cons) that we should be considering in this scenario related to our son's application.
We are just trying to make sure that we are not hampering his choice to make his own decision when he becomes an adult.

Thanks in advance
AJ C.

No cons of getting Canadian citizenship.

Note that once he is an adult, he will have to file a US tax return annually regardless of where he is living and working.
