Asalamalakum Everyone!! A question for whoever knows,

My file has hit the year mark Alhamdullilah, and i got in touch with my mp. Who got in touch with the immigration officers at the London office. They said that they are going to send me a letter within 4 to 6 weeks because they need "further information." Now they wouldn't tell the mp's secretary what exactly this was. Now, i am curious and really want to know, so i can start planning and sorting things now, rather then waiting for the letter. Keep in mind, i am a Nikah Only case. Could this be the letter to go back and get rukhsuti? Or could it be something else? I did post this question from my mobile a few days ago, however, sometimes that acts up and i dont receive responses. If anyone knows and can let me know what this can be. It was make it a little easier and less stressful for me. If i have to go back to do rukhsuti. Then I will. I just want to know what the letter can be...

How lucky you are MashAllah. I just recently got notes and found out that till 10th october my file was not even assigned to anybody. The only thing they did was to add recent visit proofs. Thats it. Makes me sad

sir. Salam. Your time line and me is same . I have also same situation , after transfer to isb pak I did not hear any thing from cic Islamabad . Even I did not received acknowledgement letter . My file is still in isb because I send inquiry to uk London cic about my file and he send me answer that your file is not inprocess , you contect to vergreville Canada . I donot know what can I do? I would say so ... if you are ruksati only they may ask you reasons why ruksati hasn't been performed. Be ready for provide proof of relationship (ongoing) since the time u submitted the application till the date you get the letter... and any other documents like repcc or schedule A forms etc etc.

I have sent a lot of proof already...

If you think your app is complete and u have submitted all necessary docs, then it might be the rukhsati issue that bothers them. So you need to prepare an answer to that. Or they might also ask for additional proofs of your relationship.

If thats the case, then i am just going to go back and get it done! It will give me an excuse to go see him again!

Just wondering so if i go and get rukhsuti, i will stay there until he receives his visa, otherwise will come back and go closer to the arrival date.

Has anyone recently landed !! need information on what documents should my wife have while travelling. Is there a form she is supposed to fill and carry ? They asked for original Marriage Certificate and Birth Cirtificate but we send them to CIC when and never got them back. Also does anyone know when we get all our original documents back and on which address. ?
