there is an appeal process in placed for cases that has been refused if that is what you are asking for.

mak39 was being sponsor by his wife through spousal class. However his wife decided to withdraw the application.

Since his wife is allowed to withdraw her application at any time before he lands/is issued the visa, I don't think there is any arbitration available.

I see, thanks for the explanation. In that situation, there is really nothing you can do. the sponsor is within their rights to withdraw their sponsorship application at anytime prior to permanent residence approval. there was even a case where, this lady got her visa and came over to canada where she was stopped by immigration officers and taken in because her husband claimed that their marriage was fraudulent. i believed in her case, because she has already been approved, she can hire a lawyer to fight for her.

in mak39's case, because his wife withdrew her sponsorship application, there is really nothing he could do. you have to remember, the person that is sponsoring has to sign the sponsorship agreement with the government and be held accountable because the government will not. if your wife does not want to sponsor, then there is no case.

if you guys end up working things out, she can reapply to sponsor under family class again. your other options is to apply to come to canada under a different immigration class. good luck.
