i am really confused why are you applying the STUDENT VISA if you are eligible for PR directly from India.

you are eligible for PR on point system if you can secure IELTS 6.0 Band (General Training) .

i can make assessment of your case and can tell you how you are eligible for Permanent Residency.

let me know if you like to know.

Hi Sir,

Below is my pofile : -

10th - 59.06%
12th - 50.33%
BSC IT - 69%
IELTS - 7.0 (8.0 L - 7.5 L - 6.5 S - 6.5 W )
Work Exp - 3+ years as a Software Engineer.
Been to Canada once on a business visa stayed there for 6 weeks.

I got admission to Information Technology Solutions program in Humber College.
My question is i have a year gap in my BSC so that makes me ineligible for SPP. so i have to go via the general category.
My previous visit to Canada on Business Visa in any way effects my application for Student Visa.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
Sir please reply to my query also :(

How much do you need to cover the program tuition and living expenses? Could you tell it in Canadian dollars please? And do not bother about property. You have to have available immidiately funds.

What kind of ties do you have at homeland? (strong tieas are good)
Do you have relatives in Canada? (bad thing)

Other then that you profile looks promising.
Just write them a SOP emphysizing your future carreer at home after graduation. ;)

Hello gkb,

Its really wonderful seeing you helping out people who are applying for canadian visa. I, too would want to take help from you for applying visa. I have following profile -

10th marks- 83%
12th marks- 74%
BBA marks- 72%
MCA marks- 68%

Married(not accompanying my wife)
Currently working in IT department of 5 star hotel since 3 years

IELTS score- 6.5(overall)
reading- 6.5
writing- 6.5
speaking- 5.5
listening- 7.5

I applied for IT(network systems-sept2014 intake) Diploma-2 years to SAIT Polytechnic, Calgary and received offer letter recently.
Now, I want to apply for student visa.

My questions are -

1. Will my 5.5 score in IELTS speaking going to strongly affect visa decision? I have good academic record(incl. english subject) throughout
and According to SAIT, I have proved my English proficiency as well as my English Language Arts 30-2/score 70.
2. My sister lives in calgary and will be a canadian citizen after the ceremony next month. My brother-in-law is a canadian citizen.
Shall I mention her name in the form as my blood relation?
3. Can I show my mother and father both as my sponsors? Also, my wife works in private firm; Can I use her employment for proof of funds?
4. What are the exact documents as proof of funds do I need to submit?
5. PCC and medical exam should be given at the time of submission or later as it has some validity period?
6. Shall I apply online directly to CIC or through VFS
7. If SOP is required, what points shoulf I mention to convince the VO?

Please advise me on my profile and how can I go ahead to get student visa?

Thanks,
VP

I am working as freelancer or you can say I am helping them setup their start-up in IT Business. I can get an offer from that company saying they will assign me as Business development manager once I complete my studies from Canada and will also pay off some % of my expenses in Canada for 2 years. is that going to help in making strong ties to India?

SPP checklist is a paper of crap enclosures that CIC asked to attach according to. lots of things are hidden part of visa application and only professional and a person have wast experience in immigration stuffs can tell you.

so you must attach 10th DMC + Certificate, 12th DMC + Certificate.. if not in English language then Certified Translated copies of both.

Reason: VO like to cross verify that you have the right progression of ur B.COM degree with 10th and 12th ,, VO also check your English marks and other subjects marks in 1oth and 12th and testify you that you were serious and sincere throughout your academic journey..

any more questions... ask freely..

Do we get our original documents back in one piece?

I applied for visa after taking admission in Fleming College (Project Management Graduate Certificate) my visa was refused due to the following reasons

Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, I am not satisfied that you:

have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to maintain yourself and
any family members who are accompanying you during your proposed period of study

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence

purpose of visit

your personal assets and financial status.

Now i have increased my statement from 25000 CAD to 50000 CAD and showed my property evaluation papers of about 100000 CAD and made some corrections in sop and explained the points of rejection futhermore i paid my first semester fee 7000 CAD which i didnt paid before what else can i do to make it more better i can further take a letter from my job.

And one more thing my classes are going to start on january 6 i have approximately one month i am going to apply through online application so should i deffer my admission and then apply or apply with the same offer letter.

Please help......................
Hi!

According to the act... you need funds for the study and living expenses for duration of the study which is in ur case 1 yr... in that case if your tution is 15000 and living expense for a yr 10000. all u need is to show 25000 dollars... which you did show... so? i dont understand why he said you have limited funds...

also as per ties... do u have family in canada? what made them doubtful about your family ties?

just want your point of views on this and anyone elses!

cheers

Will it be a problem i i dont attach pay slips... i have recently joined this company... and my pay is not a lot. also my last job.... used to pay me in cash (although the amount was pretty good).... so that cannot be provided either...

i have my brother supporting me along with my personal funds. is that ok to shopw him as supporter and not my parrents. is that going to be a problem...

i have 23000 dollar in my account...

i am going for a two yr diploma program, total tution is 15000 and expense for a yr is 10000...

if show 23000 my own and affidavit from my brother for support... will that be alright....

some one said they were refused on $ 25000, for a yr course.. when the minimum fund required is 25000? why was meeting the minimum not enough.... do we always have to have more then the minimum requirement? cant we reason on that with them?

thanx!
