i think u r very scare and confused about this thing...

let me tell you that if u compare Canadian coll. edu with canadian uni. edu.. i would say its very very easy and smooth like water if u r little serious,,, attend ur classes, seminars, lab work and revise little bit when back at ur room.. thats it.. bcz coll study is a job oriented not Research based which require extra ordinary ability to conduct your cutting edge Research in high tech labs which are setup on the basis of Millions of Dollars.. you cant compare the college study with Uni. study on any scale... so u will enjoy coll study ... sure..

do not give more emphasis on course name (label), check out its subject u will be taught and contents of the subject, faculty, facilities and college past record of placement, student satisfaction in specific course...

and as far as Salary concerned whole depends on so many factors..

1. ur capacity of Technical knowledge
2. your English language capacity
3. your coll. repute and placement tie ups with industry .
4. coll. facilities, faculty and quality of course contents..

i have no idea of ur previous edu otherwise i can give u more precise recommendation about other courses like Automotive Engineering Technician, Aircraft Technician, Aerospace Engineering Technician ... these course having high demand in Canada.. u can check the sources on Google search..

i can make exact comment after having ur interest, ur previous Qualification, etc...

any thing left,, ask me..
Sir i had completed my 12 th from cbse non medical 75 chemisrty marks 74 physics 70 maths 82 computer science with c++ 67 english 6.5 ielts band 7 reading 6 speaking 7.5 listening 5:5 writting i get study permit for jan 14 intake sheridan college electromechanical engineering technician 2 year diploma kindly so help me on my prevoius question

kindly apply to the following universities and chances are pretty good according to your profile.

1. Uni of Regina
2. Uni of Saskatchewan
3. Uni of Manitoba
4. Uni of Windsor
5. Simon Fraser Uni
6. Thomson River Uni
7. Lakehead Uni
8. Dalhousie Uni

universities have clear application deadline for International Students, for September admission (deadlines are Jan-feb) and they generally inform the applicants up to June-July so you can say after applying uni takes generally 4-5 months for Initial info and then they will send you offer of acceptance.

no one can comment on this that what can be the probability of your selection in particular university. all depends on the application packages that you have sent for admission. i mean docs that included with application package. got it. thats why its advisable to apply min. 4-5 universities (2-3 top ranked and 2-3 average uni.).

according to your profile i recommended you that you leave the idea of the following Universities:

1. Uni of Toronto
2. Uni of Waterloo
3. McMaster Uni
4. York Uni
5. Rayerson Uni
6. McGill Uni
7. Uni of British Columbia
8. Carlton Uni
9. Uni of Ottawa
10. Uni of Calgary

take care..

Hi Sir,

Below is my pofile : -

10th - 59.06%
12th - 50.33%
BSC IT - 69%
IELTS - 7.0 (8.0 L - 7.5 L - 6.5 S - 6.5 W )
Work Exp - 3+ years as a Software Engineer.
Been to Canada once on a business visa stayed there for 6 weeks.

I got admission to Information Technology Solutions program in Humber College.
My question is i have a year gap in my BSC so that makes me ineligible for SPP. so i have to go via the general category.
My previous visit to Canada on Business Visa in any way effects my application for Student Visa.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

i applied for a study permit to canada, and they refused my application based on the following reasons!!
Puruant to sec 219 of the immigration and refugee protection act i am not satisfied that you:
1) have sufficient and available financial resources without working in canada to pay the tution fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue

You have not satsified me that you would leave canada at the end of your stay in reaching this decision, i considered several factors, including:
1) your travel history
2) your family ties in canada and in your country of residence
3) your personal assets and financial status
4) purpose of visit
i had used my father as my sponsor and included my savings too. and had asked for a study leave from my work place which they had granted me and put it in writing.

Please help me out, where did i go wrong (solution to each of the reasons given by CIC). i want to correct my mistakes and be able to study in september 2014.!!!.

Apart from my field i.e Electronics and Communication i have good interest in computer field also...

as u can see that i don't really have time to give GRE or GMAT as i am looking admission for jan 2015..

I am looking for admission in MEngg or MS in universities...

My long term goal is to get PR and settle in canada...

And apart from ms/mengg i would also request u to suggest some 2 year course as i am only interested in doing 2 year course only....

first you have to understand that getting visa is just like casino game, sometimes experts miss the chances to win game and sometime stupid guys made a chance to win...

LUCK + GOOD TIME + HARD WORK all play in parallel.

i never used the work CHANCES rather i used PROBABILITY..

ur 10th percentage is fantastic,
ur 12th is again percentage
B.Tech backlog is the biggest problem as it will prove loose of your academic grip.

for any management course at masters level in Canadian university, you must have GMAT score and IELTS/TOEFL score. after MBA there is no logic to go for PG Certificate unless its a very specialized Management course which is not available in your home country. because you have to prove this point to VO that why you are for this course and why only canada not India.. under SPP no SOP is required but you have to prove indirectly with your file to VO..

so already you have done MBA- General then you can go with MBA (HR, Finance, IT, Project Management, Analyst), there are plenty of further specialization of MBA according to your previous education and experience. suppose you have done some degree in Computer Science/ IT then you can go with MBA- IT/ Software Project Management. so explore the MBA major according to your previous education and/or experience.

first you don't need any consultancy help, you will get admission on your academics basis not on the basis of consultancy. you should apply directly to Uni, visit the concerned department/ Graduate school of Uni in which u r willing to get admission and cross check the admission requirement and for a moment forget about your B.Tech backlogs and if you feel they you fulfill all the requirements for admission , try your luck.

and one more thing that doing MBA in canada is the highest costly so think 50 times before moving further.

or if you could find a very specialized Diploma/ certificate course and can prove the VO that this course is best for you instead of MBA as its a specialized course/ major of Business/ Management then again you can try your luck, get offer letter and apply for visa... but one thing don't have any big expectation with visa, may be reject or grant ,, so be prepare and be ready whatever will be the visa outcome.

THIS IS THE WHOLE STORY.

i have seen applicants become so possessive and conscious about visa and it hurt them 100 times more if you are not very conscious... don't close eyes when the reality is on your front..

need to ask again,,, feel free to ping me,, i always try to show the real picture of Visa game...

waiting for ur reply.. :)

first let me tell you that Canadian education system is different from Indian education system.

ok i explain you with an example so that you can understand very well what i am trying to say.

suppose you have B.Tech- ECE and suppose if you apply for Masters in Indian then you are not concerned much about the department, type of Masters, type of degree... i means after B.Tech sure you will go with M.Tech.. then you will see mostly taught based degree on Indian Uni websites and within seconds you can make ur decision with what degree you can go with M.Tech VLSI Design, Embedded System Design, ECE, Power Electronics, Optoelectronic, Medical Electronics etc. etc. you are not concerned much about department. according to Indian System M.Tech is of 2 years and you have no provision that you could complete it before 2 years ,,, you have to spent 2 years by pain & gain..

BUT CANADIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM is different.

so in you case.

when you will visit the University website you will see " School of Graduate Study " and further exploring you will see "Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering" OR " Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering", so if you have undergraduate in Electronics/ Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering then this is the right place for you.

so if you further explore the " Departmentof Electrical and Computer Engineering" you will see the following options:

1. Taught/ Course based Masters (MEng.)
2. Project based Masters (MSc.)
3. Research/Thesis based Masters (MSc./ MASc.)
4. Co-op (Industry linked) Masters

so you have to choose according to your interest.

now further exploring, you will see lots of subjects/course and among them some are core/fixed which you have to study for one semester and for rest semester you can select which you like to study (this is the option for Taught/ course based Masters). so in last you will get a degree like Masters of Science (MSc.)/ Masters of Applied Science (MASc.)/ Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering with detail of your subjects you have taught.

but in case of MSc. (Research/Thesis Based), first you need a supervisor then you have to select the Research field inline with department current research.

so for complete detail always advisable to visit concerned department and look for the 1. type of Masters 2. Major option

so according to your profile following Major are possible in your field:

1. Microelectronics
2. Nanosystems
3. VLSI Design
4. Computer Engineering
5. Software Systems
6. Optoelectronic
7. Embedded System Design
8. Communication (Wireless, Mobile and Communication)
9. Biomedical Engineering
10. DSP
11. ASIC/ SoC
12. CAD and EDA

and lots other Majors. so check your university website and department for latest happening.

YOUR OPTIONS:

1. 2 year Graduate Diploma Programs
2. Masters (MSc., MASc,. MEng.)

KINDLY CHECK THIS LINK

NBCC College http://www.nbcc.ca/en/home/programs_and_courses/programsearch/programdetails.aspx/Details/pf/2596

BCIT College http://www.bcit.ca/international/programs/fulltime/index.shtml

if interested for college specifically then good options can be come out other than electronics courses.

if feel i missed or forgotten to mention then kindly again ping me..

tc..
