Hi friends my cousin is a student from India,currently studying in USA on a student visa,but she have canadian permanent residency from last month.she planning on getting married to her boyfriend in India,can she sponsor him to Canadian permanent residency after marriage while she is studying(doing PHD) in USA?Thank you for your considerations.

She has to be living in Canada permanently to sponsor her spouse. She can sponsor her spouse as soon as she returns to Canada but then has to remain in Canada while the application is being processed. She cannot even submit the application until she has returned to Canada.gurminnder said:
