canadian passport for baby born in India to a Canadian parent

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this scenario. If a baby is born in India to a Naturalized canadian parent, what is the procedure to bring the baby to Canada. I have read some threads where people mentioned that you can get temporary passport for baby and bring them to Canada.

My question is once you get baby's birth ceritificate, do you apply for citizenship certificate first? where is it faster- applying from India or Canada?

Also, how do they give a canadian passport to a baby without citizenship ceritificate?

Please advise.
