I believe the processing has been stalled only on Work permits which needs further processing, TRV for families members without Work permit are being Issue even till today.

I read somewhere people who submitted with Medicals on March 13 , got their Visa. However we are not supposed to submit along with Medicals for Work Permit. May be its an incorrect information.

My observation:
1. All those applicants who applied after Mach 1st week 2013 for Work Permit there has been no updates . Categories ( Open work permit, Work permits with a positive LMO, work permits with more than 6 months stay in Canada, Intra Company Transfer (ICT) with more than 6 months stay in Canada )

2. Applicants with less than 6 months stay or those who don't require medical test or further analysis got their VISA.

So friends, hang in there. Unless we get a say from Canadian government, our applications are going to be in same state unless we withdraw applications.

Hi supamh10

I think delhi office is not affected by strike.
I called the delhi High Commission customer support and they told they are not informed about any strike.

Thanks a lot anixdutj for the update.

If delhi office is not effected, then its a sweet news for all..

I have applied for ICT workpermit along with medicals on May 5th. In general, ICT work permit for a stay of 1 year is submitted among with medicals. This is how 5-6 guys in my compnay got processed and are at canada.

Hi Anix....I just had a chat with the number provided by you. They haven't confirmed that there is some strike going on (directly) but has communicated that there are some problem going on, and there might be some delays. Yes, they are issuing visa at a low pace.
