Can US citizen get Canadian citizenship

I have a kid who is US citizen and he has Canadian PRship also..After 3 yrs can we apply for his Canadian citizenship without denouncing his US citizenship?Can she keep both the citizenship?

She can keep dual citizenship for her entire life.

I would say the one potential disadvantage is that once she becomes an adult, she has to file US taxes for life, regardless of where she is living or working.
