Well, I guess that F1 holders are second only to H1B holders among the Express Entry applicants from the US.
Nothing prevents you from applying. The sooner, the better. Don't waste your time on H1 lottery if you can.
Also, it should be much easier to verify a US degree via WES (easier to obtain transcripts, etc), and a US OPT job/internship at least in personal history might add credibility.

Being an F1 means am still studying..what credentials / certificate will WES be evaluating, since am not done with studies?. I see that the option for F1 is through express entry.

Hello, I am a PR of Canada and I live in Windsor right across the border from Detroit. I am also on an F1 status in the US working on CPT in Detroit.
Can I travel to US on F1 status frequently to work while staying in Canada?
If so, is it risky?
My stamp is expired but as per the automatic revalidation terms, I can be outside of US for a maximum of 30 days in a row. But since I will be travelling to US often, I'm assuming that it won't be an issue.
Please advise if anybody has some information.
