Hi,

So I meet the minimum eligibility criteria for CEC, I started working full time in Canada January 10th, 2017 and still presently working.

My current score is 435 but I was wondering if I could boost up my CRS score a bit by providing some past experiences that were all foreign, given that this will will increase my score in the Transferability factors section.

So my foreign work experience is:

November 19th, 2013 - December 12th, 2014 -> Part time, 20h/week
- 55 weeks times 20h = 1100 hours (Don't know if only whole months count, if so it's 52 weeks)
September 8th, 2016 - December 23rd, 2016 -> Full time, 44h/week
- 15 weeks times 44h or times 30h? I'm a little confused here (Don't know if only whole months count, if so it's 12 weeks)
I have another experience in the US that I can use to fill in the gap, but I'm a little unsure about the period, but I believe it's also around 3 months and full time

So in order to get my 1 year in canada + 1 year working abroad points in the Transferability factors section I'm a little unsure if I'll need to use my experience in the US to fill in the gap or if my first and second foreign work experiences are enough (1560 hours).

Thanks!

Any week where you worked 30 hours or more is counted as a single week. So if you worked for 15 weeks at 44 hours per week - that counds as 15 weeks.

For part time weeks, you have to calculate the total hours and divide by 30. So 55 weeks at 20 hours each is 36 weeks.

Ok, thanks! So that means it adds up to 51 weeks without the US experience, that means I'll have to use the experience I had in the US to bring it up to 52 weeks and complete a whole year of experience? Thanks!
