Is there any updated timeline ? ppl who have received the PR recently ?
Should I worry? we have got the step 1 in end of Jan this year and till now no updates on the website, still "application received"

I got the step one in June last year and no updates till now .. So don't worry

Can anyone direct me to the right avenue as for just a general immigration from Cairo to Canada? A friend of mine is thinking about Immigrating with his wife and daughter from Cairo to Canada....we have been trying to look on the cic website but really it is very unclear as to what the best route to take would be....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... ;D

Any of them Canadian ? If no so they will have few option. Like skills worker. Or they have money and they able to invest it in canada

Supposed that our files were transferred to Cairo office since 28th of Jan but we had never recieved any emails from the embassy says that they have received the application and that they will process it in time

Yes that's normal, they ll contact you only when they start process your file

The pregnant can't make x-ray and if u decide to make it u need to sign that it under ur responsibility ..

for those who redid the medical on their own! How do you link it to your file?

if you were asked to redo the medical...was there form(s) provided or any special requests by Visa office?
if you were not asked to redo the medical and did it on your own...what did you do? Did you have any difficulties? Did it cause any complications?

Congrats! I assume that when it goes in process and not having set up an interview, that it will be waived. That is just what I gather from other posts on the forum though, so it might be wrong. You have not been contacted for an interview? right?

The Cairo office tends to wait to update ecas until everything is almost finished. Again this is just me guessing from other members experience.

I need to get a Canadian Police Certificate for my visa application as required from Cairo visa office. I have read a lot of information on different website but still have a few questions in regards to the procedures and how to get this as quickly as possible. They said i have to provide that within 60 days.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
