congratulations and good luck, can you tell how much did it take to return to you the passport?! I've also sent my passport last week and nothing soo far !

I've called the embassy asking about how long does the passport take to get returned back to me, the woman replied me " at least one month" :o I don't feel like I can believe her, guess she is just giving the embassy some buffer time, what do you think ?

No they didnt ask for an interview and it took like a week

They have requested my passport for visa issuance but e-case still says file is in process !! Is that normal ? when shall I expect the passport ?

Last update was that my husband sent and inquiry to the embassy and they have replied him with the same copy and paste answer :s Not sure where is our application, when shall we expect any update. Still on e-case application received

Hello everyone, I know this might be an old topic but I didn't search enough in the forum, I thought about start working on the papers that I need to get done while waiting for the visa ( yarab :) ) I knew that I need to make something esmo شهادة بيانات for the driving licence when I go Canada...

BTW, Supposed that our files were transferred to Cairo office since 28th of Jan but we had never recieved any emails from the embassy says that they have received the application and that they will process it in time Is that normal ?

Is there any updated timeline ? ppl who have received the PR recently ? Should I worry? we have got the step 1 in end of Jan this year and till now no updates on the website, still "application received"

So, is it recommended to give them an update of relationship evidences ? My husband's last visit ticket, our valentine's gifts, FB and chat updates, etc ....

They send it to Cairo office for example, where is Ottawa in the process then

Our papers were in Mississauga immigration center, that's from where we have received out approval letter. But i see lots of threads getts Ottawa involved :D what's the difference ?

I know a couple who got their approval letter in late October 2012 and they got the visa by the end of Feb 2013 ... so how come ?!!! aren't they taking applications in time order or what
