Do you mean she will visit for a few months or live with you until you get the visa? As long as the Canadian government knows that you want to make your lives together in Canada, and not Egypt. Just make it clear in a letter, and make sure they know your plans, exact plans, of what your life in Canada will be like. If they think you will get the visa, but still, in the future, live in Egypt, they won't want to give you the visa, which makes sense.

Good luck!
Initially we plan for the visiting after 4 months , viz 6 months after the beginning of application processing

there is no plan to stay here together in Gaza strip after visa issuing

I cant wait until i get the Visa so i want to go to Canada , my wife now have a house and work

and sure her ticket will be two way

The Cairo visa office sent my wife today ( sponsor )

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the immigrant category in which applicant has applied currently require approximately 12 months, as per new standards, to process for routine cases.
what do you think about it ??

note that, I am June applicant and we got the SA July 5th

I'm confused! What do they mean by 12 months? I thought it was 18 months...am I misunderstanding something?

No, don't be! Okay, I understand now...but for a second I was hopeful that it was down to 12 months, magically. :) Well, I guess I'll just buckle down and wait. We have been waiting 6 months now, since I got approval to sponsor my husband.

I'd be curious if there have been any interviews lately.

you can download the File from here
http://www.cic.gc.ca/opendata-donneesouvertes/data/000001-eng.xls

Its Bilingual (English and French)

Tables. This data set consists of 3 separate, interactive tables accessible by the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Tables may be customized using some or all of the following limiters, depending on the primary table view: Destination: Quebec, federal, or all destinations. Immigration category: economic classes (skilled workers, business, provincial nominees, live-in caregiver program, or Canadian experience class) and non-economic classes (family class, refugees, or humanitarian and compassionate), including subgroups. Language: English or French. Visa office location: points of service overseas in the following broad areas: Africa and Middle East, Asia and Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. Table view: some statistics may be viewed by the number of cases processed (including cases passed, cases refused, approval rate percentage and number of visas issued), by processing times (usually the percentage of cases processed within a certain number of months or days), or by number of persons.

This math doesn't make any sense to me at all. Am I missing something? If 20% get the visa in 6 months, that only leaves 80% to get visas... Anyway, I'll still just hope for less than 18 months.

Thanks! :)
