I got landing papers today and did landing already.

They received my photos on Dec 2, Decision made on Dec 6, CPR issued Dec 2, received landing papers on Dec 11, did landing on Dec 11. I did not have to send the passport (visa-exempt), so it took only 9 days (more that 2.5 years all together)

Landing was quick and easy, standard questions from papers, did not ask anything else.

Of course the sooner - the better. But take a look at the guys who applied in 2010, it was lots of going on during 2013 for them and we hear less and less about applicants from 2010 who did not get PR yet. I think 2012 applicants will have a fast pace because they don't need to reapply for many expired documents like 2011, 2011 on the other hand is the priority for CPP-Ottawa at the moment from what I can see.

And even with the 'good wish' post I got a 'minus'. 'Minus guys', you are adorable! God Bless!

I made last week ME. My wife and I have had medical forms but
Our 3 month old son didn't. The doctors office created a UMI #.
I send all three to VO. Yesterday he sent me a email acknowledging
About receiving all three ME and adding my son to my application.
And in separate email sending medical forms for my son.
I called to doctors office asking them if I should bring it to them they
Said no don't worry about it and do nothing cos the UMI number is
Also ok.
I want to know your opinion about it?

Alex, I got curious and just checked my profile when I read your comment. I got 3 minuses for my comment on patience. The minuses don't mean anything so don't worry, some people are just negative and are unhappy when others progress. Enjoy your PR buddy and ignore negative people.

Feeling so happy and relieved ....
Thank you all in this thread for giving me mental support when I was groping in the dark and silence of CIC during this long waiting.
Those who are still waiting (Buffalo to Ottawa cases), I strongly believe that they will have the same feelings as I am feeling now and it will happen very soon. Should not take more than next couple of months, as Ottawa is desperate to be done the processing of all the buffalo to ottawa cases.
