I received my medical request at the same day as yours and I got it done 2 days after I got it. My Ecas still shows RBVO ! What about yours? Did you check your Ecas? What does it show?

Congrats that's wonderful you got PPR in less then a month after submitting documents. After how many days of document submition you got the PPR.

It is clear that cic processing MI 2 now. Many people applied in 2011 were advanced with PPR and got visa litle or no postes of any MI1. It is very sad and unfair system used by cic. I seen many people from even 2012 as PhD stream were more advanced and cic seems has no since of huminitrain and mo logic of process order. I hoping the best for all eiligible applicants but the system should be fair. No way that i imagin this will happen in like modern socitey as Canada. I am looking to see any eason why. Even what they wrote about job market and economy is not true to all MI1 applicants. I holding new degree phd from here and now working and better for canada than many other phd students in phd stream.
CIC does not want to make the system transparent of process system is in darkness and asking us to wait and not contact. Are we sleves to them. I donot no.

Yes I am in Canada since 2010, I am the main applicant and I do not have a job offer, but my husband who is another applicant in this application has a job offer and he got it recently. My MP believes that we are still FSW1 not FSW2, but his job offer affects our application somehow.

I can understand your frustration which unfortunately some of us share with you. But I have to say that sometimes, no matter the situation, the way you approach and handle it matters most. And to be quite honest with you, I have to say, with due respect, that you don't sound like what you claim you are.

ottawa cpp said MI02/03 – All files received between June 26, 2010 and June 30,2012 will be assessed in 2013
MI01 – Files received between Feb 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010: as many as possible will be processed in 2013. There is a commitment to complete MI1 cases by fall, 2014.

my question is what is the difference between assessed and processed??

MI02/03 – All files received between June 26, 2010 and June 30,2012 will be assessed in 2013 means our files may only be touched and not must give us med's request this year??

It's been just over a month since I've completed my medicals and still no news from CIC regarding PPR. Is this normal? From what I've seen on here most people get their PPR at or just after 3 weeks.

I have the same problem, After almost a month I did not hear anything from CIC. ECAS still shows RBVO and it is disappointing. My MP said you may hear from them in 4 to 6 weeks after you do your medical, but there is no guarantee and it may extend up to a year!!!! Who knows, maybe a miracle happens and we receive the PPR tomorrow
