i mailed it on the 19th (received on the 20th) but i live in ottawa so maybe that is why it is going so quickly. i did not do anything to rush them. i think its been so quick since CPP is in the same city as i am. where are you located?

callmeqqx - it took a little over one month to get my ppr. also my ecas does say decision made. i included a self-addressed envelope with tracking when i sent my passport and according to canada post i should be receiving it back today or tomorrow!

Received my PPR today!!! Does anyone know how long it takes to receive my passport back once CIC receives it?

Bahar - ECAS shows they received my medicals but I haven't heard anything since. It seems they aren't consistent with updating each individual's ECAS so I would not worry if I were you. Let's hope we get our PPR soon!

It's been just over a month since I've completed my medicals and still no news from CIC regarding PPR. Is this normal? From what I've seen on here most people get their PPR at or just after 3 weeks.

Yes, interview was waived. When I paid the RPRF they receipt did not include my name and address information. Has anyone else experience this?

Today I received my MR and RPRF as well. I anxiously await next steps! From those who have gone through this, how long after Medicals will the visa be issued?

What does one need to bring to the doctor when they go in for the MR? Is it possible for me to make an appointment without having received my medical request email yet, or will the doctor ask to see that email?

Hi Hamid - Once you returned all your docs did CIC respond to you or was their next contact the medical request? I returned everything they asked for yesterday but have only received the auto-reply.

On average, how long has it been after sending updated docs that you (those people that have received it) received MR?
